Who We Are Seeking

Left Field Labs is looking to strengthen our Design Lead/Director roster for upcoming collaboration and opportunitties to help craft big ideas in the digital space. You will be working on the creative front lines in order to help advance impactful storytelling, rich brand experiences,  and working on the cutting edge of mixed reality.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

In this role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to lead creative execution and collaboration within our team of tech-savvy designers and developers to achieve demanding business objectives. This role will require you to learn about new technologies in order to both critically and creatively develop project strategy and creative concepts. This will entail:

Required Skills

 

  • Guide the design process throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Design visual concepts, user flows and wireframes for assigned projects, when applicable.
  • Drive client presentations and discussions of your team’s work
  • Work with ECD and team to support in project strategy for assigned projects, including RFP responses and pitches.
  • Collaborate with creative tech team teams to ensure feasibility and fidelity

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • A 5+ years of product/digital design experience within a digital agency or consultancy, preferably including time in a Lead capacity
  • Expert-level understanding of UI/UX principles, industry best practices, and modern design tools (especially Figma)
  • Strong interaction design abilities
  • A portfolio showcasing excellence in digital and visual design
  • Skilled at translating stakeholder objectives, user insights, and complex flows into clear, intuitive interfaces
  • Enthusiastic about emerging trends and best practices in desktop, mobile, web, and iOS design
  • A strong communicator, capable of presenting thoughtful design rationales to both clients and internal teams
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, including open-ended client briefs that require exploration and clarification

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $120,000-$150,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
