Overview

As a Contract Senior Digital Producer, you will be the central force driving the successful execution of complex digital projects. You will be responsible for leading projects from initial concept through final delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of deep project management expertise, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the digital agency environment.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead digital projects, such as websites and applications, from discovery to delivery while working with a cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, and technologists
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact for project status, scope, and deliverables, managing expectations effectively
  • Manage all digital projects using best-practice methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) tailored to the project needs
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and business alignment
  • Develop, maintain, and track detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Proactively manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Own the quality assurance process, ensuring final deliverables meet all requirements and Left Field Labs' standards of excellence

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across internal teams (Design, Strategy, Engineering) and with external partners or vendors
  • Motivate and guide project teams to ensure clarity of tasks, adherence to timelines, and overall high performance
  • Manage resource allocation and workload planning in collaboration with department leads

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor project financial health, including burn rate, budget forecasts, and change requests
  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing and reporting
  • Follow LFL’s standard project management processes, including utilizing LFL tools & templates

Required Skills

MUST have 5+ years of experience working within a digital agency environment leading complex client-facing projects

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead projects of website builds (large-scale CMS implementations, platform redesigns, etc.) as well as custom application development
  • Deep understanding of the digital product lifecycle, from initial user research and strategy through design, development, deployment, and ongoing optimization
  • Expert proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Notion)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $500k
  • PMP, Scrum Master certification, or equivalent practical experience is a significant plus

Compensation

The hourly range for this role is $60.00-$75.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
