Who We Are Seeking

We are seeking a freelance Frontend Developer who is interested and available for variable hours on an as needed basis.

You will work alongside a group of dedicated and multi-disciplined technologists and designers to bring high quality solutions to market. We count on our developers to write elegant and well-documented code, with a strict eye towards separation of concerns and maintainability. Our developers are creatives, we expect an eye for design, collaboration on interactions, and understanding of overall user experience when building our software.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

• 4 years of experience writing HTML, CSS and Typescript or Javascript for production-ready websites
• Extensive experience with React and the ability to build efficient and reusable frontend components
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and testing methodologies
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Mac or Linux savvy - Must be comfortable working at the command line
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with other frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js, Lit)
• Additional Javascript frameworks like PIXI.js, Three.js, WebGL, Web Audio
• CSS animations
• Knowledge of frontend build tools and bundlers, such as Webpack or Parcel

The hourly range for this role is $35 - $65/hour. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
