Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 3+ years of experience in SQL, including proficiency in writing complex queries, optimizing query performance, and designing relational databases. Familiarity with indexing, stored procedures, and SQL functions is expected.
  • 3+ years of development experience in at least one systems programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Scala).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in a relevant field.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Background in data architecture and warehousing technologies.
  • Expertise in ETL processes and data application development.
  • Experience leading a technical team in data or software engineering projects.
  • Data analysis and reporting experience.
  • Proficiency with GraphQL for data querying and integration.
  • Ability to set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Mercurial.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

 

  • Develop data pipelines that comply with privacy and governance principles.
  • Design and build data consumption portals, continuously enhancing them to adapt to evolving needs.
  • Assume responsibility for the quality and integrity of data in all supported projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders across engineering, legal, sales, marketing, strategy, and governance for dashboard and system development.
  • Troubleshoot and support user issues related to dashboards and data systems.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000 and applies only to jobs performed in Culver City, California. This range represents the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Please note that we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

  • Analytical skills for data troubleshooting and basic quality checks.
