Who We Are Seeking

Left Field Labs is currently looking to partner with Freelancers and Independent Contractors remotely! If you are a forward thinking human ready to work on cutting edge technologies with an out of the box creative imagination, then we invite you to join us as we build our rosters and enrich our teams!

As a Freelance Digital Producer you are a technical individual who thrives at simultaneously managing multiple projects ranging from websites, applications, and animations - from inception to delivery and beyond. You’re an excellent communicator verbally and in writing, who is solution-focused, self-sufficient, and knows how to get things done while being sensitive to the workload of your team. You’re also adept at direct client communications and relationship management. 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Manage digital projects, such as websites and applications, from discovery to delivery while working with a cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, and technologists 
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring the feasibility
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, including maintaining task management systems and project documentation
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget and make adjustments to project constraints when required
  • Provide regular budget and status reports internally and externally to key stakeholders 
  • Partner with Resource Manager to secure necessary resources following departmental processes and identify and communicate resource conflicts
  • Enable team to output high-quality work and ensure all projects and deliverables meet accepted specifications and best practices for each discipline 
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills by managing internal resources and third parties/vendors during the lifespan of projects
  • Act as project lead and a primary point of contact for the client on a daily basis. Demonstrate excellent client services skills to nurture, grow and maintain these relationships
  • Contribute to department and company initiatives 
  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • 5+ experience as a digital producer, providing exemplary client service within a digital agency or similar
  • Experience with full project lifecycles-- from discovery to delivery-- with a deep understanding of UX, UI, web development, and quality assurance processes and deliverables 
  • Experience with Sharepoint
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage simultaneous and/or competing deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate with team and clients to achieve desired results
  • Experience running projects with a distributed team
  • A passion for technology, creativity, with an eye for attention to detail
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Compensation

The hourly range for this role is $65.00-$80.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
